Tess Simons - Tess is passionate about movement and sharing the freedom that comes from true expression. She is a registered nurse with a degree in Public Health and has a background in both western medicine and holistic healthcare. Tess took her teacher training on the Big Island in Hawaii and delights in the combination of travel and yoga. She is also a BUTI yoga certified teacher and promotes a playful and lighthearted learning environment. She is dedicated to sharing the dynamic possibilities of yoga and the personal freedom it can create.
Jodi Schroeder, owner of Hot Yoga Tucson, completed her Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 1998 and Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in 2001. Since then, she has completed training with Paul Grilly, Jimmy Barkans Level 1- 2 and Level 3-4 Advanced Training, and Anna Forrest Advanced Training. She has attended numerous workshops, and has spent countless hours with amazing teachers throughout the country. Hot Yoga Tucson is a result of her passion and desire to share the Hot Yoga experience.
Quality living with compassion towards others is an important intention in Tovah’s daily life. She grew up in Boston, MA and worked at Harvard Medical School where she studied alternative medicine research and the placebo effect, which got her hooked on yoga! Tovah has been teaching an array of classes for over 15 years, but yoga is her absolute favorite! Tovah studied with Bryan Kest and Kancho Cameron Shayne. Tovah uses humor in her classes and encourages all students to be the best they can be. As a native Bostonian, she loves a good Lobster!
Connor Sohns - Connor is a dedicated health professional who interweaves the wellness of mind, body and spirit. His background in health includes a degree in Physiology and he currently practices as an Intensive Care Nurse. He spent many years in contact sports and played rugby and football for the University of Arizona. Yoga has been able to provide a sustainable way to promote ideal physical health and has inspired him to share its continuous healing benefits. He enjoys hiking, camping and traveling when he’s not busy taking care of his many plants.
The yoga room is heated to 100 to 104 degrees and 40% humidity. The heat warms your muscles allowing for a deeper and safer stretch. The heat and humidity promotes sweating which flushes toxins from the body.

Kim has been practicing yoga for over fourteen years. Her love of yoga started in 2000 when she attended her first Bikram Yoga class. She is a certified yoga teacher and has certifications in Prenatal Yoga and Children’s Yoga. Yoga has been a centering force in Kim’s life and she loves sharing her passion for the practice with her students. Besides practicing and teaching yoga, Kim is also a teacher at a local school. Her teaching experience enhances all her yoga classes. She aspires to create a warm, welcoming, and fun experience for all her students.
